Shipping Information:
Most orders are shipped in 2-3 days, should an item not be in stock you will be notified by email of an estimated wait time. Your credit card will not be charged until the item is shipped. (Customized items, Special order items or drop shipped items will be charged when the order is placed.)
Shipping is free for purchases of $150.00 or more.
Free shipping does not apply to items requiring freight shipping.
Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:
Most items sold by Public Safety Direct, Inc may be returned for credit within 10 days from the ship date.
To initiate the return, simply email Sales@PublicSafetyDirect.com and receive a Return Authorization number (RA#) within 10 days from the ship date and ensure that the item is in its original condition (including: packaging, manuals, warranties, accessories, security seals, etc.). We must receive your item back within 20 days of when we originally shipped it to you. All returns must clearly show our RA# on the outside of the package. Please allow 14 days from the time we receive your item to process your return.
For your protection, we suggest all returns be sent by a traceable carrier. You must pay all costs related to return shipping. After receiving and inspecting the returned merchandise, your account will be reimbursed for the purchase price minus any shipping & handling charges. If you received free shipping you will be charged for the original shipping expense. For refunds on purchases made with a credit card, we will issue a credit to the same credit card used to make the purchase.
On some orders we offer FREE SHIPPING over $150, if you returned item(s) brings you original purchase below $150, you will be charged a shipping fee for your original order. Your refund will be your item(s) returned total minus the shipping fee.
Missed Deliveries or Returned Deliveries. If your item is returned for any reason, such as you were unavailable for signature, multiple delivery attempts etc. You the customer will be responsible for the shipping cost. For example if you received free shipping and the order is not resent, You will be responsible for the original shipping cost. If the item is resent you will be responsible for the cost of the second shipment. NO EXCEPTIONS.
We cannot accept the return of certain items, including:
- Undergarments, batteries, factory-closeouts, special orders and other products.
- Worn or custom sized body armor. Worn and custom sized body armor may be returned to the manufacturer within 30 days of the sale date for resizing only. Please contact us for a copy of the Body Armor Alteration Form. This completed form must accompany the armor when it is sent to the manufacturer for resizing.
- No partial case pack items will be accepted. If you return a case pack item, it must be returned in the original shipping pack with all individual items unopened.
- Items shipped to APO/FPO addresses
- Lightbars, Warning Bars, Push Bumpers, Vehicle Partitions, Cargo/Command boxes, Gun Racks, Trunk Trays, Plastic Seats, Chemical Agents, Evidence Supplies, Sirens, Flashlights
- Any electronic item opened from its original packaging.
